10 Ways to Lose 10 Pounds

January 3rd, 2010

I was so embarrassed for her. After a grueling 45 minutes on the Stairmaster, Kathy rewarded herself with a bag of Ruffles and a Diet Coke. Yet still insatiable, she drank two breakfast drinks and finished off little Emily’s last five Oreos.

Kathy’s post workout binges are nothing new. Neither are the extra 10 pounds living around her hips that she can’t seem to lose. But once Kathy puts these simple three steps to good use, she smile gaily as her last 10 pounds melt away.

Step 1: Eat at least 45 minutes before you exercise.

Ok, if you are now envisioning guilt eating and compensation exercising stop. This is not about eating a chocolate bar now and exercising it off later. It’s about, giving your body the energy it needs to sustain a good 45-60minute workout.

Eat a light snack consisting of 300-500 calories. This could be a bagel, with a slice of turkey and a whole tomato. Or it could be a protein bar.

The point is to get some carbohydrates, proteins and fats in your system now so that it has something to run on later. With this pre-workout meal, carbohydrates are critical because you want energy for your workout.

Eating 45 minutes before a workout will not make you fat. If anything, it will spend up your metabolism if you do this regularly.

Step 2: Drink lots of water while exercising

Your body should be 70% water and it knows this. When exercising, you could easily lose up to three pounds of water during one exercise.

Please don’t beat yourself up if you don’t lose three pounds. I watch women get upset at the gym everyday after their post-workout weighting ritual, if they haven’t lost weight. The weight will come off.

If you drink while exercising, you may be able to exercise longer. But more importantly your body will not have to cry out for water after you finish exercising.

Also, water can give you the sensitive of fullness so that you can calmly wait for your post workout meal without getting ravenous.

Step 3. Eat a meal at least 45 minutes after you workout.

Even if you are not hungry after your workout, you should train yourself to eat within 45 minutes of exercising. The body is patient and it will take a lot of mistreatment up to a point.

The problem with waiting until you are hungry to eat is that the body continues doing gazillion operations until you decide to eat. This usually when you get the “Gosh, I hungry now!” feeling.

In truth, at this stage, you’re not hungry, you’re famished and you have no time or patience to be judicious with what you eat. What’s more, you’re more likely to overeat.

So, feed your body with a 300-500 calorie meal within 45 minutes of exercising. Again, make sure that this meal has carbohydrates, proteins and fats.

For the post-workout meal, eating a lean protein proves critical because your body is in repair mode and it needs protein to rebuild your body.

If you can avoid post-workout binges for the next five weeks, you can certainly melt away those last 10 pounds. Here’s the secret to never having an excuse for not eating your pre and post-workout meals: Make your meals simple and place them in your purse or gym bag.

On occasion your can even replace a meal with a well-balanced protein shake. Now, no more embarrassing post-workout pig fests, you know what to do instead.

Seven Effective Ways to Lose 10 Pounds â?? And Keep it Off

January 2nd, 2010

So you have gained a bit of weight over the years, and now you think its time to drop a few pounds and slim down the waistline, but where do you start? What is the best weight loss program?

You may have heard about all the popular fad diets where you cut out this food group, only eat grapefruits and celery, or only take your meals in liquid form. Or what about that diet your friend tried for two weeks and swears by, even though they put all their weight back on, plus some!

Sure you can lose weight and body fat with these fad diets, but can any of these diets be continued for the long term? Could you see yourself existing for the next 30 years or so only eating rice cakes and salad?  Didnâ??t think so.

Time For a Little Common Sense.

Do you think our cavemen ancestors were overweight? Well nobody knows for certain, but itâ??s pretty unlikely as they didnâ??t sit at computers or work stations all day eating high-calorie convenience food, or travel around in cars, trains and busses.

Maybe we should take a leaf out of their book and take steps to incorporate a more natural approach to our lifestyle, and our plans to lose weight. Now Iâ??m not suggesting that we all kick off our shoes, wear animal skins and go around clubbing defenceless squirrels for our lunch, but we can try to adopt some caveman thinking.

Humans are made up of 80% water, so itâ??s only natural that this should be our primary source of refreshment. We all know how good water is for us, apart from the essential bodily functions we need water for, drinking plenty of clean, pure water can give us clear, bright skin, and healthy sparkling eyes, plus can assist our weight loss hugely!

Do you think our cavemen ancestors stirred and sprinkled refined sugar into everything? By avoiding processed sugar, and foods that contain it, we can drastically cut back on calories without even trying. Start by reducing the amount of sugar you add to your tea and coffee, and substitute fizzy sugar laden drinks for fresh milk, natural unsweetened juice and water.

If you need to eat something sweet, then go for natural fruits and berries. Your taste buds will soon adjust, and after a while all these unnatural, sweetened foods will taste too sweet. Eliminating added sugar from you diet will certainly help to shift those excess pounds.

Take a look at the meals you eat. How processed are they? Does any of it resemble its original source?  A nice piece of lean roast chicken breast is one thing, but if it has been chopped and shaped, mixed with all sorts of added salts, fillers and flavourings, then coated in breadcrumbs, just how many extra calories are you getting from the additives? And just how much real chicken is actually hidden in there?

Stick to lean roast meats and fresh fish, with a side of fresh vegetables and salad. Desserts can be a sugar-laden nightmare, so stick with natural un-sweetened yoghurt, fresh fruit, baked apples with chopped nuts and a little honey, or as is popular in Europe, a nice selection of mixed cheeses.

Did you know that you can help reduce your waistline quicker if you increase your calcium intake? Contrary to popular belief, going on a low-calorie diet that cuts down on, or completely cuts out dairy product does not result in faster weight loss than if you include dairy in your diet.

Calcium will not help you lose weight in itself, so I wouldnâ??t recommend taking calcium supplements in the belief it will melt the pounds away, but in combination with a low-calorie diet, eating yoghurt and low fat cheese, and drinking milk can actually help shed your body fat quicker.

Your body naturally stores calcium inside your fat cells to use as reserves when needed. By taking in regular calcium through your diet, you body does not need to store up so much in your fat cells, so lower calcium levels within the fat cell affects the metabolization of fat to favour weight-loss.

So eat up your yoghurt!

You knew this section was coming, so thereâ??s no avoiding it Iâ??m afraid!

We all know the excellent benefits of regular exercise, but before you all go running and screaming for the nearest doughnut shop, stop and take a breath.

Exercise doesnâ??t mean hours of punishing workouts at the gym, unless you actually like going to the gym that is! What Iâ??m talking about here is taking a step back in time again to our cavemen ancestors. What sort of exercise do you think the average cave man did every day? Well unless they were good at catching and riding on the back of a passing mammoth or two, they pretty much walked everywhere.

In our time-pressured world of work and deadlines, it would be unreasonable of me to suggest that you walked absolutely everywhere. But what about trying to park at the back of the car park, or getting off the bus a couple of stops early so you can have a brisk walk for 15 or 20 minutes before work. Take the stairs instead of escalators and elevators. Walk from the train station instead of taking a taxi. Go out for a walk during your lunch break. More calories burned = more weight loss. Get the idea?

Even at home you can increase your exercise levels. Does the garden need a good weeding? Does that hedge need a trim? Get out your deck brush and sweep up a sweat! Push the cleaner around the house that bit harder and faster, take longer strides, and really push out and pull back with those arms and shoulders, not forgetting to swap sides to get an even workout. Clean and polish those bathroom tiles with big arm circles and apply plenty of pressure until you can see your reflection. All these activities will help burn the fat.

You may have heard the old saying, the Devil makes work for idle hands, but its actually true!  How often have you sat in front of the TV with a drink and a bowl or two of high-calorie, highly refined snacks and just went into automatic pilot, from bowl to mouth without a thought. How much extra weight has this bad habit contributed to your expanded waistline do you think? Plenty Iâ??m sure.

Now is a great time for taking up that hobby that you have been putting off, phoning you old college buddy for a long catch-up chat, or starting that new jigsaw puzzle or book you got for Christmas. When was the last time you updated your family photo albums, or put some more pages together of that scrapbook you started last year.

If you keep your hands and your mind busy on a project or hobby, then there will be less mindless calories going into your mouth, and less fat settling on your mid-drift.

I bet that somewhere lurking in the back of your closet you have a pair of favourite jeans that you can no longer fit into. You know the ones â?? just a little too tight, but still too good to throw away.

Dig out these old friends and drape them over a hanger, then put them somewhere in full view in your bedroom, perhaps by your mirror, so you see them every day and know your target is to fit into them.

On the same day each week, slip on your motivational pants to see how well you are doing. Each week you will find the pants slip on easier, you will be able to do up the fly a little higher, or the waistband feels less tight.  Use this method as your motivation.

Keep going, it will be worth it!

Lose 10 kg in 1 month ?

November 29th, 2009

Here’s how to lose 10kg in 1 month with diet and exercises. Warning: This doesn’t involve any diet pills, jogging, or any other stupid things like that. You’ll get a secret diet and 2 “next generation” exercises that’ll suck pounds off your belly, thighs, hips, and butt.

How to Lose 10kg Diet

1. Eat eggs… as many as you want, as often as you want. Filling and packs a lot of protein. Minimum of 4 eggs a day.

2. Eat black beans… high in protein and fiber, 25 grams of each in 1 can. And they’re cheap. Eat 1 can a day. Do it however you want, just make sure 1 can disappears by the end of the day.

3. Eat apples, as many as you want, as often as you want. Apples are high in water content and each one has 5 grams of fiber. A perfect snack. Minimum of 3 apples a day.

4. The rest of the diet is up to you. As long as you follow those 3 rules above, I’m not too worried about the bad things you do. Now, this isn’t a “free pass” to screw up and eat really bad, but you don’t have to be totally strict with yourself.

How to Lose 10kg Exercises

1. Spinning

No, not spinning on a stationary bike, spinning around in a circle like you did as a kid. Just spin around clockwise, with your arms out like airplane wings. Spin anywhere from 5-20 times to get slightly dizzy. It’s not beneficial to get totally dizzy.

Once you get that number of spins, do multiple sets of spins with that number throughout the day.

This works for weight loss because spinning teaches the Endocrine System to be more balanced with it’s hormones and hormonal releases. Since you most likely have unbalanced hormones, the spins help to unlock your ability to lose weight fast because of the balanced hormones.

There’s more to it than that, but because of limited space, I can’t give you all the details. But you can get all the details on spinning by clicking the link below to get my free 19 page report.

2. Hindu Squats

Hindu squats cause a massive oxygen deficit within your body. This works great for fat loss because it makes your body pillage your body fat for the instant source of energy that it needs. What you do is squat up and down as fast as possible, without weights. Touch your finger tips to the ground with each repetition.

This is the best way on how to lose 10kg in a month with diet and exercises.

Your goal is to do 100 repetitions in less than 5 minutes.

If you’re sick and tired of getting the same old boring and tired weight loss advice on how to lose 10kg… you know, like “Eat more fruits and vegetables in your diet, drink 8 glasses of water, jog, exercise more, and blah blah blah”… then you found the right person. I’ll make weight loss easy and enjoyable for you… AND NOT BORING!

Second… after you get the free report, you’ll be sent inside my website for even more unique and little known weight loss tips, tricks, techniques, and tactics. These unconventional tricks are a “shortcut” way on how to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks… no mention of eating carrots or celery. I promise.

Third, with my advice, you won’t starve, have to go to the gym ever, or basically do anything that is a hassle for your busy life. Listen, I understand you want to lose 10kg without changing much in your diet or exercise plans… I get it. I have this completely covered. I’ve worked with over 3,700 clients. I know a 1 size fits all plan doesn’t work. So I’ve come up with lots of “tricks” to personalize weight loss specifically for you and your lifestyle.

Fourth… there is no fourth. Just enjoy the free report and my website. If you don’t lose 10kg with just my free information… I’d be amazingly surprised!

Why will this help me lost Stomach Fat Fast?

The reason this diet works so well is that it works with the body to find the best balance between a healthy diet, yet a diet which triggers massive amounts of weight loss. What makes the calorie shifting diet so unique is that it doesn’t care about how much you eat, although it does provide guidelines for the ideal amount for best results. The key is that you are never hungry and that your body is always in a state where it doesn’t feel the need for anymore calories and is ready to eliminate excess calories.
